He is trained in all areas of accounting,<br>including individual income tax, corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, and financial<br>statements. He specializes in private social club tax matters and complex tax authority<br>disputes, and successfully advocated for the Washington State Legislature to pass SSB<br>6615.2004, saving clubs additional fees on charitable events. He has also contributed to<br>multiple tax cases that came before the Washington State Department of Revenue, compelling<br>the Department to adhere to the state tax laws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>George graduated from Seattle University in December 1973 with an accounting degree and<br>began working at Ernest Jonson &amp; Company P.S. He became a licensed C.P.A. in 1976 after<br>completing all requirements and the two years in service. George was elected President of<br>Ernest Jonson &amp; Company P.S. in 2000. During his Ernest Jonson &amp; Company PS employment<br>he started and managed the software division specializing in club accounting. The division<br>supported more than 500 clubs using custom software developed by the company. The clubs<br>were located across 44 states and seven countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>George also served on the boards of both the Washington State Golf Association and the Pacific<br>Northwest Golf Association for more than 20 years each. He received the Lifetime Service<br>Award from the Pacific Northwest Golf Association in 2006. Other memberships include the<br>Lake Forest Park Rotary Club and the treasurer of the Sheridan Beach Community Club. He is a<br>competitive golfer and a lifetime member at Broadmoor Golf Club.<br>He has been married to his wife, Bunny, for more than 50 years.
